Ankle Joint Replacement (Ankle Endoprosthesis)

In our specialized practice for foot and ankle surgery, we are among the few centers in Cologne that offer ankle joint replacement surgery.

This procedure is a modern alternative to joint fusion (arthrodesis). By implanting an ankle prosthesis, the natural movement of the joint can be largely preserved. This leads to a more natural walking pattern and allows for earlier mobilization after surgery.

The goal of this treatment is to relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance long-term quality of life.
